About the LGA

The Local Government Academy (LGA) is the country's leading provider of capacity building services to local government units (LGUs) and to the DILG personnel. With our main office and training center located in the heart of Pasig City and at the University of the Philippines in Los Baños, Laguna respectively, we cater to the needs of all LGUs nationwide from program designing to training implementation, and other forms of technical assistance.

The LGA has an opening for an Information Management Assistant (1) and an Assistant Librarian (1) to be assigned at the Research and Policy Development Division.

We are pleased to inform you that the LGA 2013 Annual Report is ready for viewing. The annual report contains the summary of accomplishments of the Academy for 2013. The accomplishments are grouped according to the five (5) outcome areas of the Department.

The LGA created a Public Financial Management (PFM) Core Team that will lead and oversee the implementation of PFM reforms and closely coordinate with DBM/PFM Project Management Office (PMO) on various activities concerning PFM reforms.

The LGA has an opening for four (4) Project Assistants to be assigned at the Local Governance Training and Development Divison.
