The AVP presentation on Institutionalizing the Reform Agenda towards Performance Based Management in the Implementation of Priority Thrusts of National Government is now available for viewing at Youtube. This AVP was presented during the Regional clusters training program of the same title serving as an introduction to the course attended by the Regional staff and DILG field officers.

President Bengino Aquino III is expected to attend the upcoming 1st National Summit on Criminal Justice as keynote speaker of the two-day event scheduled on December 5 and 6 in Manila. The event is a gathering of stakehlders of the justice system to reexamine the institutional criminal justice issues and to forge strategies towards enhanced delivery of justice.

The Justice Sector Coordinating Council (JSCC) composed of the Supreme Court, the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) as lead convenors will organize the 1st National Criminal Justice Summit on December 5 and 6, 2011 in Manila.

The Japanese Grant Aid for Human Resource Development Scholarship (JDS) Program for Japanese Academic Year 2012-2013 specifically to the programs under the following components:
 

  • Component 1-2 : Support for Agriculture and Rural Development/Small and Medium sized Enterprise for Improvement of Livelihood
  • Component 2-1 : Support for Financial Reform and Investment Promotion Policy
  • Component 2-2 : Development of Basis for Economic Growth

The LGA posted four (4) scholarship programs sponsored by the Thai Government. These programs are for local government officials and functionaries only. Applicants should take note of the date of submission of requirements and the interview date. The interviews will be held at TESDA, Taguig City.

The LGA is inviting interested bidders for the printing of 2,000 sets of Resource Generation and Updating the Local Revenue Code.
 
Bidders can download the specifications here. Also, bidders are directed to strictly follow the Terms and Conditions in the document most importantly the date and time of submission of bids. The Academy reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids without offering any reason, waive any formality therein and award to the bidder whose proposal is most advantageous to the government.
