About the LGA

The Local Government Academy (LGA) is the country's leading provider of capacity building services to local government units (LGUs) and to the DILG personnel. With our main office and training center located in the heart of Pasig City and at the University of the Philippines in Los Banos, Laguna resperctively, we cater to the needs of all LGUs nationwide- from program designing to training implementation, and other forms of technical assistance.
 
LGA trace's its roots back in August 1988 when it was formally organized as the national training institution that would coordinate, synchronize, rationalize, and deliver training programs for local governments. In our 21 years of existence, we have evolved to become not just one of the country's leading training service providers but more so as an orchestrator of and trendsetter in capacity-development programs. Our workforce of 70 highly committed, innovative and team oriented permanent and contractual employees is our client's assurance of our capability to deliver high quality and ground breaking programs on good governance.
