Functions

The Office of the Director (OD) performs staff and advisory services to the DILG Secretary on capabiltiy building programs for local governments. It also develops, formulates and recommends plans, programs, policies and guidelines needed for the overall operation of the LGA.

The Executive Director and Assistant Director manage the operations of the LGA with support of the Executive Committee (ExeCom). The ExeCom is composed of the chief and assistant chief of the three (3) divisions.
