Functions
A Board of Trustees (BOT) formulates policies and provides guidance in the overall administration and management of the Local Government Academy (LGA). It is composed of the DILG Secretary as the Chairperson and four (4) BOT members appointed by the President. The BOT also facilitates linkages and collaborative arrangements, as well as recommends adjustment with other government or private agencies and institutions. It reviews LGA operations and confirms executive decisions when necessary.
