Functions
The Education and Training Division (ETD) manages the implementation of training and other forms of technical assistance to LGUs. The ETD staff is engaged in the preparation of program and training design, development of training materials and preparation of terminal report. They interact closely with local officials who would like to avail of the programs and services of the LGA particularly on training.
The ETD also provides secretariat support to the DILG-Central Local Government Scholarship Committee (DILG-CLGSC). For current scholarships offered click here.
The ETD also manages the Local Government Academy Training Center (LGATC) in Los Baños, Laguna and other facilities.
