01/20/2010 The LGA being the DILG-Central Local Government Scholarship Committee (DILG-CLGSC) has released a list of Scholarship opportunities for LGUs. The scholarship programs that are currently being offered are from Thailand, Taiwan, Sweden and Malaysia. Among the programs that are being offered are:
- Health, Environment and Development (Thailand)
- Tourism in Asia: Development, Management and Sustainability (Thailand)
- Enhancing Entrepreneurship in SME Develooment and Export Consortia (Thailand)
- Advanced Animal Disease Control and Risk Analysis (Thailand)
- Grassroots Economic Development Followed Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (Thailand)
- Hazardous Waste Management (Thailand)
- Public Policy and Economics of Health System Development (Thailand)
- Appraisal Course on Real Estate (Taiwan)
- Sustainable Urban Water and Sanitation Integrated Processes (Sweden)
Interested applicants can view each program at our website and should take note of the last day of the submission of scholarship requirements to the DILG-CLGSC National Secretariat at the Local Government Academy office.
Regional applicants can coordinate with our LGA Coordinators at the DILG Regional Office in their respective areas.
