The LGA is currently finalizing the design and further plans for the LGA Coffee Table Book and the LGA Museum. A dialogue concerning this was held last July 30, 2010 at the Commitment Room. This was atttended by the Division Chiefs and Assistant Division Chiefs.
The concept theme is "Recollecting LGA: Histocrizing LGA as an Institution Gearred towards Progressive Excellence in Local Governance". Among those that will be part of the Coffee Table Book are the history and the different accomplishments of the Academy in past two decades. Likewise pictures and memorabilia will form part of both the Coffee Table Book and the LGA Museum. The LGA Museum on the other hand will be housed at the training center in Los Banos, Laguna.
The LGA Coffee Table Book shall symploze the institutional maturity of the organization by featuring the historical milestones of LGA through documented photos and memorabilia to be gathered from different sources. The publication shall be the official Coffee Table Book of the organization which may be used as a reference material and a brand promotion vehicle for the various stakeholders.
