Objectives:
- To facilitate the re-orientation and redesigning of training
programs to suit the capability-building needs and demands
of LGUs.
- To assist LGUs in assessing their capability-building
requirements and reviewing training programs intended to
meet those requirements.
Coverage:
Accreditation covers training programs for LGUs offered by
Civil Service Commission-accredited training institutions
or organizations, whether government or private, offered exclusively
for or with the participation of government officials and
employees in the LGU concerned.
Requirements:
- written application for accreditation
- pre-assessment report on the capability-building needs
of the LGU or LGUs concerned
- program design stating the rationale and objective of
the training program
- course content
- topic/activity outline and short description
of each topic
- methodologies to be used for each
topic/activity
- expected output for each activity
- phases of activities, schedule and
length of program
- description of target participants
which includes position, nature of work, etc.
- manpower requirements
- venue of proposed program
- a proposed monitoring, evaluation,
and follow-through scheme
- copy of program materials and manuals to be distributed
to participants
- bio-data of institution's resource persons, trainors
and facilitators
- resource of fund commitment, explaining how institution
will finance program implementation
- copy of institution's audited financial statement for
the preceding year
